If you do not have the time to drop off your pup/cat off at the vet, daycare or to a family members house, I offer shuttling services to and from different locations so your pet has a safe and easy trip.
Welcome to Happy Tail Adventures, thank you for taking your time to visit my website! My name is Sierra and I offer dog walking, shuttling and drop-in services for dogs and cats. I have an extensive history in dog boarding, shuttling, house sitting, walks and drop-ins. I originally started watching dogs/cats in 2016 and in 2021 switched from my full time job to pursue my dog business full time! I originally started on rover with dog boarding and over the years have adjusted my services on what was most needed in the area. Over these years I have watched 100’s of dogs and just about any breed you can think of! I have experiences with all ranges of animals including puppies/kittens, elderly dogs/cats, small tea cup poodles, Great Danes, blind and deaf dogs/cats as well. I’m very comfortable with giving medications, changing diapers during heat or just sticking to your normal routine. After using rover for many years I decided I wanted to create my own business and thus Happy Tail Adventures was created! I moved to the Dallas area about 6 years ago and have loved living here and have really enjoyed the community. Caring for animals is a passion and something I look forward to doing with my day! If you have any questions please feel free to reach out, I can answer any questions or concerns. I also have experience with rabbits, snakes, turtles, etc., if you need an animal watched I am always open and it doesn’t hurt tor each out!

“Loved having Sierra over to watch our pups! It was such a relief to know we could leave both a senior and a puppy in her care without any issues. Georgia and Charlie both loved having her and we cant wait to boo Sierra again.”

“Sierra is perfect, she paid attention to all the details. She was on time every single day, kept us updated and helped us to have a peace of mind when we were away. Her communication is great and prompt. Thank you”

“Sierra was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of our pupper while we were gone. She provided regular updates and always promptly responded when we reached out. Sierra was punctual and our pup Bravo really seemed to love hanging out with her. Also the house was spotless when we came home and and didn’t even look like someone had stayed there while we were gone which was so nice to see. We would highly recommend Sierra!”

I service the following areas in North Dallas:
Plano, Carrollton, Richardson, Addison and Preston Hollow.
I am available to do a larger radius such as, Lewisville, Irving, Highland park and farmers branch for an extra $10 per service depending on the location.

Scheduling/Cancellations: I have flexible availability during the week anytime between 7am-7pm. If any exceptions needs to be made, let me know and I can see if I can make it work! I also except same day bookings if I have the availability, I try and work with your schedule. When reaching out, I will check my availability then confirm the dates on my end to then put in my calendar. For cancellations, I ask for at least a 12 hour notice, if its under 12 hours I would charge for 50% of the total service that day. I understand life happens and it cant always be planned out but I also want to make sure someone else has the opportunity to book that time if it doesn’t work out.
Extra questions/answers:
Are you able to help with the potty training/training process during drop-ins/walks? Yes! I am able to change out any pee pads in the home, reward your pup with treats when going potty outside or rewarding for using a bell for needing to go out. This also includes normal training, whether your pup needs to stay beside me during the walk, heel or sit before crossing the road. Let me know and I’ll make sure to accommodate the best i can.
Do you walk more than one dogs at once? Yes, I can walk multiple dogs from your home at the same time. I also offer group walking in the neighborhood, if you and a neighbor have pets that get along and want to be walked at the same time I have no problem walking them at once.
How does this process work? Great question! When reaching out, let me know how many pets you have, the service you are wanting and the area you’re needing the service so I can make sure you’re in my service area. From there, I can let you know if the date/time works in my schedule. If so, I can schedule a phone call if you have more questions and from there i would like to set up a meet and greet. We can meet in a public place like PetSmart, a dog park, a local park or your home and make sure its a great fit. From there the dates would be re-confirmed and I will need a way to enter the home. Whether you will be home yourself to let me in, you have an extra key or a code I can use we would get that set up then. After the service has been provided on the confirmed date and time I will send an update with pictures!
Do you have pets yourself? I do not at the current moment but the best part of watching pets is I get to enjoy my clients animals and give them my undivided attention!
Will you walk my dogs rain or shine? Yes and no. Cold weather, hot weather, rain and cloudy skies. I have no problem doing walks during these conditions. But, if there is active flooding, lightning, or it is over 100 degrees the walk would either be cancelled for the day or I can focus on getting energy out during a drop-in. If a drop-in doesn’t work, you would not be charged for the day. I do offer walks in the summer but when it is over 100 degrees it is typically not safe to take you dog on a walk without your dog having shoes or the walk being in the early morning or evening.
Payment information:
For payment options, I have Venmo, Zelle or cash works as well. I do ask the payment is made the same day as the service but can also work out a weekly payments schedule if you’re a regular during the week!
